Spreadsheet Rescue
Running on a basic spreadsheet? We turn it into a customized working tool your team can actually use, without buying expensive software.

Get started
Tell us what you need and we will scope it with you. Start with a free audit.
Get your free auditThe spreadsheet worked when it was one person and forty jobs. It is now the system of record for the whole business, three people edit it, and nobody is quite sure which tab is current.
What we actually do with it
You send us the file. We read it the way a new employee would have to, find where the structure fights the work, and rebuild it as something your team can use without being told which cells not to touch. Where the file is holding a whole operation together, the honest next step is a system built around the work instead.
This is done for you. There is nothing to learn, no trial, and no software to buy. It is a flat one-time fee with no monthly attached, shown on this page and on pricing.
Two ways it can go
We move the data into a real tool. If what you have is a decent record of jobs and customers trapped in a grid, the fastest answer is usually to lift it into something built to hold it, so you get filtering, reporting and history without maintaining formulas.
We rebuild the spreadsheet itself. If the spreadsheet is the right shape and the problem is that it has grown teeth, we turn it into an operations hub: proper structure, protected formulas, entry that does not break when someone types a date wrong.
Which one you get depends on what is in the file. We tell you which we are recommending, and why, before we start.
What comes back
A working file or tool, your data already in it, and a short written note on what we changed and what we could not fix. If we found something that will bite you later, a duplicated customer list, a formula that silently rounds, dates stored as text, it is in the note.
You keep everything. There is no account to hold it in and no subscription that switches it off.
When we tell you not to do it
Sometimes the honest answer is that the spreadsheet is fine and the problem is somewhere else. Sometimes the data is too far gone to be worth lifting and starting clean would cost you less.
If that is the verdict, we say so and refund the fee. We would rather give the money back than hand over a rebuild of something that should not have been rebuilt.
How the credit works
If you go on to a full North Star build later, the fee credits against it in full. There is no expiry on that.
That is the point of this being an on-ramp rather than a product. It is a cheap way to find out whether your operation needs a system, using your own data rather than a demo. If the answer is yes, you have not paid twice. See what a build costs.
What this is not
It is not a subscription, and it does not come with ongoing support. One file, one rebuild, one note back.
It is not a migration of your accounting. Your books stay where they are.
It does not fix a process. If three people disagree about what a job status means, a better spreadsheet records the disagreement more neatly. That is what the free audit is for.
Common questions
The file, and a sentence about what it is used for. If there are several, send all of them. Most of what we need to know is visible in how the tabs have grown.
Usually a few days from the point we have the file. If it is going to be longer because the data needs real cleaning, we say so up front rather than after.
We tell you, we explain why, and we refund the fee. That outcome is uncommon but it is a real one, and it is better than selling you a rebuild you did not need.
Yes, in full, with no expiry. If you later have us build a North Star system, the fee comes off the build. The figures are on the pricing page.
